Revisiting Studio 8H after her previously scheduled late-2021 performance was cancelled due to the Omicron virus, Charli XCX was the musical guest on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
Strutting her sexy stuff across the stage while singing “Beg For You” and “Baby” (from her upcoming album Crash due March 18,) the British-born musician was also featured in a sketch as a singing meatball.
Since first announcing her forthcoming full length last fall, Charli (born Charlotte Emma Aitchison) has shared “Good Ones,” “New Shapes,” “Beg for You,” and “Baby” from the LP collection. And last month, she released another remix of “Beg for You” with Vernon from the K-pop group Seventeen and A. G. Cook, after Perfume Genius updated “Good Ones” in December.
Back in December, Charli XCX was scheduled to perform on SNL—with guest appearances from Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens—but it was canceled due to a spike in COVID-19 cases. .
