In the futuristic video for his new song, “Satellite,” Khalid visits the final frontier.
An uptempo pop song that Khalid describes as “a visual portrait of my growth as a human being and the self-love journey I have experienced in my life,” the music video for “Satellite” features the superstar singer in several futuristic outer space settings including meteor showers and intricate dance numbers complete with Playstation5 product placement.
The latest in a series of 2022 Khalid singles and collaborations, ‘Sateliite’ follows his Lukas Graham-featured “Wish You Were Here,” and his Marshmello reunion on, “Numb” along with (his) solo offerings “Skyline” and “Last Call.”
Khalid’s last proper full length, Free Spirit, was released in 2019, and in 2021 he shared the nine-track mixtape, Scenic Drive. The musician (born Khalid Donnel Robinson) has since announced his third album, Everything Is Changing, though an official release date and formal track list have yet to be confirmed.
