The latest celebrity to experience a home invasion, Jessie J has fallen victim to a west coast robbery.
After burglars broke into the singer’s house and stole a collection of jewelry, earlier this week, Los Angeles Police responded to an incident after the singer (born Jessica Ellen Cornish) came back to find her residence had been broken into and ransacked.
According to TMZ, the perpetrators reportedly smashed a back window to gain entry to the house and took off with more than $20,000.00 worth of jewels.
In August, law enforcement officials confirmed that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s cliffside home was broken into with thieves smashing through the glass to get inside a guest house on their property.
In July, Bhad Bhabie’s home was hit by burglars after thieves smashed through her back door before stealing items such as handbags and jewellery. Law enforcement entered the rapper’s home after the alarm was triggered shortly before 10pm.
Modern Family actor Sarah Hyland and White Chicks star Marlon Wayans have also been targeted in a string of recent burglaries in the area.
No arrests have been made in the Jessie J home assault and the investigation remains ongoing.
