Superstar singer/songwriter Sia and celebrity/deejay/socialite Paris Hilton have joined forces on ‘Fame Won’t Love You.’
Scheduled for a proper May 3 release, the now 48-year-old Aussie talent and the 43-year-old American fashionista have come together on the single concurrent with Sia executive producing Paris’ next album that’s dedicating to the LGBTQ+ community.
Born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, ‘Fame … ‘ is from ‘Reasonable Woman,’ Sia’s 10th studio full length and her first full collection of new material since ‘This Is Acting’ in 2016. And, in addition to Hilton, the record also features Chaka Khan, Tierra Whack, Kaliii, Jimmy Jolliff, Labrinth and Kylie Minogue.
On a more personal level, Sia confirmed that she is now sober after years battling substance abuse:
“Nobody can ever know and love you when you’re filled with secrets and … living in shame. And when we finally sit in a room full of strangers and tell them our deepest, darkest, most shameful secrets, and everybody laughs along with us, and we don’t feel like pieces of trash for the first time in our lives, and we feel seen for the first time in our lives for who we actually are, and then we can start going out into the world and just operating as humans and human beings with hearts and not pretending to be anything.”
