Sia Sells 50% Music Catalogue

According TMZ, Sia has agreed to sell off half of her music catalogue to entertainment and investment company Pophouse for a total of $180,000,000.00

Due to her recent divorce from Dan Bernad, the superstar singer/songwriter will receive a payout of $165,000,000.00 for the songs she penned before her marriage to Bernad – including such hits as ‘Chandelier,’ ‘Titanium’ and ‘ Cheap Thrills’ – and her ex has agreed to waive all rights to that money, if Sia gives him $1,000,000.00

The balance of $15,000,000.00 is allocated for songs she wrote after the couple married, with the funds to be held in escrow until they agree how to split it. She has already agreed to pay $42,500.00 a month in child support for their two-year-old son, Somersault Wonder Bernad.

Before she filed for divorce in March of 2025, the musician (born Sia Kate Isobelle Furler) was married to Bernad for less than three years.

Taking to X at the time, she penned, “I’m a sober working mom trying to buy peace. I have primary custody of our son, and since I am the only parent earning income, I still have to pay California’s incredibly high child support.”

Opening up about the fallout she’s endured since she filed for divorce, the musician added “This has been a horrific year, but it taught me how to navigate incredibly difficult situations, prioritize my family and not absorb other people’s negativity.” And a hour prior to her explanation, the songstress posted “Good dads get jobs.”
