Usher Confirms Super Bowl Halftime Show

On Sunday (9.24,) in a jocular video alongside Kim Kardashian, Usher officially announced his Super Bowl 2024 Halftime Show performance involvement.

In the comic clip, the social media celebrity called the superstar singer to confirm his involvement in the Apple Music Halftime Show.

As Usher laughs and states, “Don’t play with me,” Kim tells the entertainer that the show needs to be a knockout before she requests several Super Bowl tickets for her famous family and friends.

In a statement about his participation, the musician (born Usher Raymond IV) said “It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list.” “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”

The 9x Grammy Award-winner promised fans “I’ll see you real soon” and thanked “everyone” who was involved in helping him land the high-profile gig.

Taking to their Twitter/X account, the NFL wrote: “USHER. LAS VEGAS. APPLE MUSIC HALFTIME SHOW. #SBLVIII See you on February 11!”

Not the first time, Usher has performed during football’s biggest day, in 2011 he appeared as a guest during the Black Eyed Peas’ Super Bowl show.

Thrilled to have landed the 44-year-old star for the headline slot during the February 2024 football event in Paradise, Nevada, NFL’s head of music, Seth Dudowsky said:

“Usher is an icon whose music has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape throughout his career.” “We couldn’t be more excited to have him headline this year’s Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.” “We look forward to working with Usher, Roc Nation and Apple Music to bring fans another Halftime Show for the history books.”
