Previously scheduled to launch her co-headlining tour with 21-year-old rapper Molly Santana in Dallas, Texas on August 5, followed by by shows in New York City, Chicago and Toronto before wrapping up in Los Angeles on August, 27, North West has since cancelled her first-ever tour.
On Thursday night (7.30) Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest child took to her Instagram Stories account confirming that the Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour was no longer going to happen.
“I was really excited to go on tour with Molly Santana. Sadly it isn’t happening anymore, but I have something special for u guys. See ya soon,” wrote North in a since-deleted post.
In a separate statement, Molly commented, “To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize. I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there. Nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all and I hope to see you soon.” “You are all so greatly appreciated and please know that I never take your time or support lightly. I love y’all so much and I promise I will make this one up to you. Black punk otw (on the way) & be right back.”
While neither musician explained why the tour was cancelled, the tour’s official website has since been taken down.
AppearING onstage with Molly during her debut festival appearance at Rolling Loud in Miami, Florida in May, North released her debut EP, N0rth4evr that same month, and just days after they performanced at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago. they announced their tour in June.
