Super star vocalist Halsey made her biggest announcement yet in telling her followers that she’s pregnant.
By sharing a trio of simple maternity photographs that proudly show off her baby bump, the 26-year old “Be Kind” singer revealed on Instagram Wednesday that she’s expecting her first child.
“Surprise! 🍼🌈👼🏻 Photos by @samdameshek,” she captioned the post, in which she tagged screenwriter Alev Aydin over her belly. The 37-year-old Aydin re-shared the announcement on his Instagram Story, adding a pair of red heart emojis. In the comment section of her post, Aydin said, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness,” as Halsey replied, “I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!”
Halsey has been very open in the past about her aspirations to have a child, explaining in her Manic album notes for Apple Music that “For a long time, I didn’t think that having a family was something I was going to be able to do, and it’s very, very important to me.”
