Ray J’s MMA Match Knock Out

Amid claims that he only has months to live, on Saturday (5.23,) during a celebrity MMA match, Ray J got knocked out.

It was in Las Vegas, that the 45-year old singer faced YouTuber Supa Hot Fire at the UFC Apex event when the bout ended in the second round after the challenger delivered the knockout blow that landed Ray J against the ropes and onto the ground. Though he was able to get back up, he had to sit down on a stool, which is when the referee ended the match.

During his post-fight interview, the artist (born William Ray Norwood Jr.) suggested the match was supposed to be rigged, though Supa Hot Fire disagreed, adding “Damn bro… like that? For real, that’s janky as f**k’ to his opponent “I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to get nobody in trouble, but damn… we took an L tonight.”

It was in January of this year that the Mississippi-native took to social media with a video clip claiming he didn’t have much longer to live, stating “2027 is definitely a wrap for me.” “That’s what they say. I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro.”

Later that month, the singer/songwriter told TMZ that doctors had advised him to remain on bed rest, taking medications for a high risk of heart failure.

He also said he was considering travelling to Haiti for treatment.
