On Thursday (10.01) during a livestream, Ray J had a medical scare and was rushed to the hospital.
While streaming on his Kick account with his mother, Sonja Norwood, by his side, the superstar musician suddenly suffered a medical emergency and had the fire department and an ambulance rush to his aid.
In the video, the singer (born William Ray Norwood Jr.) is seen shirtless with equipment attached to his chest as medical professionals attended to him on a sofa.
Not the first time the artist has experiences a health scare, it was earlier this year that the younger brother of Brandy Norwood and cousin of Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to tell fans that he had been hospitalized due to heart issues, stating:
“I wanna thank everybody for praying for me.” “I was in the hospital. My heart’s only beating like 25 per cent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right, so thank you for all your prayers.”
In addition, the 45-year old was also hospitalized in Las Vegas in January with pneumonia and heart pain.
During one live video, Ray J admitted that years of excessive drinking and drug use have caused issues with his heart, adding “I f**ked up.” “I thought I could handle all the drugs, I could handle everything, but I couldn’t.”
