Adding to the slow drip of her re-recorded “Taylor’s Version” songs, Taylor Swift recently announced tonight’s release of a never-before-heard composition.
“HI. I wanted to let you know that the first ‘From the Vault’ song I’m releasing from Fearless (Taylor’s Version) comes out tomorrow at midnight eastern,” Swift said of her “You All Over Me (From The Vault)” track. In subsequent messages, Swift revealed that Maren Morris sings backing vocals on the song that was produced by her Folklore/Evermore collaborator Aaron Dessner of The Nationals and co-written by Scooter Carusoe. “One thing I’ve been loving about these From The Vault songs is that they’ve never been heard, so I can experiment, play, and even include some of my favorite artists,” she teasing stated.
After her 2019 announcement of plans to re-record her first six albums – following the acquisition of a large portion of her master recordings by Scooter Braun – the multi-Grammy Award winner unveiled her updated edition of “Love Story (Taylor’s Version),” just days before Valentine’s Day.
