Celebrities from the United States and India will come together as one in July for a star-studded virtual event in support India’s battle against Covid-19.

Focused on highlight the plight of India’s residents and educate viewers on how they can help save lives badly impacted by the virus, among those scheduled to perform for Vax.India are Gloria Estefan, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Yo-Yo Ma, Asif Mandvi, Nishat Kahn, Ranjani Gayatri Sisters, and Matteo Bocelli.

With a second record wave of daily 400,000+ cases and 377,000+ deaths due of Covid-19, Anuradha Palakurthi, who operates her own organization in New England that promotes the development of Indian culture, is the brains behind Vax.India.

Palakurthi had friends and relatives in India who were infected with the virus, some of whom died, and she understood that mass vaccines, similar to those used in the United States, were the only long-term answer. Anuradha turned to The Giving Back Fund with this goal in mind, and the two came up with the idea for Vax.India.Now.
