Following her split from Alex Rodriguez, it seems that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been spending some quality time together in Los Angeles.
According to one source the Oscar winner has been seen heading to J.Lo’s $28 million California home in the neighborhood after being picked up in a white Escalade SUV (that reportedly belongs to Lopez) and taken to her nearby mansion. “Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house.”
Since returning to Los Angeles after filming her latest film, “Shotgun Wedding,” in the Dominican Republic, Affleck, 48, is said to have paid Lopez three visits. However, sources loyal to the stars say that the couple is simply polite and have remained so throughout their careers. “They are friends. They’ve never been otherwise.”
Lopez was spotted out to dinner with Rodriguez on April 23 at the Hotel Bel-Air, the same location where the ex-couple had their first date in 2017. Affleck was seen at the same hotel a day before J.Lo saw A-Rod being dropped off by a white SUV, which then drove Lopez and a business partner to a business conference. And on April 28, Affleck was reportedly seen leaving Lopez’s Bel Air house, according to reports.
The next day, April 29, Ben was seen dropping his car off at the Hotel Bel-Air and being picked up by the same white Escalade to go to Jennifer’s house. According to sources, the same white SUV dropped him off at the hotel’s valet about 3 hours later. With a green backpack, Affleck emerged from the white SUV wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers. He was also pictured leaving the hotel in his car.
In 2002, Affleck and Lopez got engaged, and the papers called them “Bennifer.” However, in 2003, they decided to cancel their wedding and broke up a few months later, in January of 2004. Lopez has described the end of her relationship with Affleck as “possibly my first major heartbreak.”
