After taking home the trophy for best song on Sunday (1.14,) Ryan Gosling‘s response at 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards was priceless.
Now 43, the actor mimicked a stunned reaction to his Barbie movie song “I’m Just Ken”, and after presenters Bella Ramsey and Anthony Ramos named the power ballad as the category winner, Gosling raised his eyebrows and was clearly taken aback by the news.
While applauding the songwriters Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt who took the stage to accept the award, the thespian stood up and appeared to shake his head in disbelief.
In his acceptance speech, Ronson addressed the Ken actor saying “Ryan Gosling, this is as much your award as ours. You made the audience fall in love with this song with your matchless performance, so thank you.”
