In light of a “medical emergency,” Rosanne Cash has postponed three upcoming shows.
On Monday (9.07,) a representative for the singer/songwriter took to social media concerning the musician’s health, adding “Rosanne Cash must postpone her performances due to an unexpected medical emergency.” “She is recovering under her doctors’ supervision, who have recommended a temporary restriction on travel and performing.” “Rosanne deeply regrets the cancellation and looks forward to rescheduling appearances.”
The impacted concerts were to take place this week in Wyoming and Montana.
In 2018, the now 71-year-old released her fourteenth studio album, She Remembers Everything.
After being diagnosed with Chiari malformation type, or a structural defect in the cerebellum, in November of 2007, the Grammy Award-winning artist underwent brain surgery. She subsequently made a full recovery and resumed writing and recording music in 2008.
The eldest daughter of the late country music icon Johnny Cash, is next set to perform in Jonesboro, Arkansas on September 19, and is also scheduled to play seven concerts across Europe in October.
No further details about Rosanne’s condition have been shared and rescheduled dates for the cancelled shows have yet to be announced.
