Nelly has apologized for sharing a sexually explicit video online.
Born Cornell Haynes Jr. the rap star started trending on social media on Tuesday (2.08) after a clip of him receiving oral sex was uploaded to his Instagram Stories platform.
Nelly’s team quickly deleted the lewd video, and a short time later, the Hip Hop artist issued a public apology to the woman in the footage, stating:
“I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them.” “This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.”
A spokesperson for the musician indicated that Nelly’s phone had been hacked, and that they’re currently investigating a potential breach of his other information.
