Marc Anthony’s House Catches Fire

On Thursday (8.07,) Marc Anthony‘s home in the Dominican Republic known as El Oasis, caught fire.

As large volumes of black smoke rose from the incinerated roof, firefighters were at the 10,000 square foot property trying to control the blaze that was caught on camera by a local TV crew.

Fortunately, the 55-year old superstar singer/songwriter, his 25-year old wife Nadia Ferreira, and their young son, Marco, were not at home at the time of the fire.

According to TMZ, the blaze “started on one side of the property in an area where bungalows are located.” “The main house suffered no damage, and the fire department quickly got the blaze under control.”

Three of the bungalows on the property were burned to the ground, while one survived with Anthony’s representative stating “The main house did not suffer any damage and the fire department has everything under control and started an investigation.”

Marc, who was married to Jennifer Lopez between 2004 and 2014, purchased the property in 2014 with his then-wife, Shannon De Lima.

Marc has a one-year-old son, with his current wife Nadia, as well as six other children, including 15-year-old twins Max and Emme that he shares with J-Lo.
