Their second time on the show, following their debut appearance in 2017, LCD Soundsystem were the musical guests on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.
Performing opposite host John Mulaney who’s fifth time leading the cast was his first since his recent rehab stint, the James Murphy-fronted band performed “Thrills” and “Yr City’s A Sucker,” from their 2005 debut LP.
In keeping with Mulaney’s prior SNL appearances, there was a musical number, this time about the subway system with LCD Soundsystem playing Guardian Angels.
