Gracie Abrams’ SNL Debut: Look + Listen

During her first ever musical guest appearance on Saturday Night Live, Gracie Abrams performed a song from The Secret of Us LP along with an additional track from the deluxe version of that album.

For her first number 25-year old singer/song writer opened with “That’s So True,” which she’d been performing during her Secret of Us tour before including it on The Secret of US Deluxe in October. “That’s So True” is one of four new titles and three live versions of songs on the original album.

The American musician’s second performance was of “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” the third single from the June version of The Secret of Us.

Referencing Gracie’s first full length, 2023’s Good Riddance, Rolling Stone wrote in a review “The folky-pop LP is a proper showcase of Abrams’ songwriting, sharpening up some of the clichés and adolescent metaphors from her debut,” That LP earned Abrams Grammy and MTV Video Music Awards nominations for Best New Artist.

At the 2025 Grammy awards, Abrams is nominated for Best Pop Duo for “Us” featuring Taylor Swift, who Abrams opened for on the recently competed Eras Tour.

Early last week, Abrams announced a tour in support of her recent album. After hitting Europe and Asia early next year, she starts a run of shows in North America in July.
