On Thursday (3.27,) Kesha will drop ‘Yippe-Ki-Yay,’ her new single, featuring rapper T-Pain.
Following the release of ‘Joyride, November’s ‘Delusional,’ and ‘Dear Me’ ( letter to her younger self) in January, ‘Yippe …’ will be the superstar singer/songwriter’s latest title from her first full length as an independent artist c/o Kesha Records, in partnership with ADA.
Six months following her lawsuit settlements with former producer and label owner Dr. Luke, the pop star (born Kesha Rose Sebert) ended her involvement with Kemosabe and Vector Management in December 2023, with ‘Gag Order’ representing the last LP part of her Kemosabe and RCA deal.
In 2024, Kesha was featured on the remix of Charli xcx’s song ‘Spring Breakers’ from the album ‘Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat’.
Never one to slow down, Kesha is scheduled to perform several 2025 dates, including London’s Mighty Hoopla festival, headlining the LGBTQ+ music extravaganza at Brockwell Park on June 1. And days prior, the 38-year old artist will play intimate shows at the O2 Academy in Glasgow and Manchester’s Albert Hall on May 29 and 30, respectively.
