Six years since they starting dating in 2015 after meeting on The Voice, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have tied the knot!
Exchanging their vows in an intimate ceremony officiated by Carson Daly in front of close family and friends at an outdoor chapel at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch, the former No Doubt lead singer and the country crooner made it official on during the Independence Day weekend
Confirming the news on Monday via Instagram, Stefani shared a clip of her lifting her veil to along with the caption, “July 3rd 2021” followed by romantic snapshots of the newlyweds posing at sunset and kissing as they stood in front of their multi-level wedding cake.
Wearing a custom-made lily-white gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice and cutaway back designed by Vera Wang, the bride wrote, “July 3rd 2021 dreams do come true !!!” with love heart and praying hands emojis.
For the evening festivities, the “Hollaback Girl” changed into a white Vera Wang minidress with stiletto cowboy boots and a shorter veil explaining “You need a party dress when u get to marry @blakeshelton @verawang (sic).”
Announced their engagement in October of 2020, Gwen and Blake began dating in November of 2015 after meeting as coaches on the the American version of The Voice
From 2002 to 2015, Stefani was previously married to Gavin Rossdale, the father of her three sons, and this marks Shelton’s third marriage following Kaynette Gern and fellow country singer Miranda Lambert.
