Despite Daft Punk disbanding earlier this week, fans of the legendary French duo will be able to enjoy the Grammy-winning artists’ music via revamped formats.
Following 25 years of collaborative repertoire, Daft Punk‘s debut full length Homework and their first-ever live full album Alive 1997 are slated for vinyl reissue on February 25th via EMI.
Forthcoming plans to reissue the turntable treats follows the February 22nd announcement of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo’s split via Epilogue, an eight-minute video that confirmed their retirement. Artists throughout the world voiced their sadness and celebrated the act’s progressive legacy and pioneering contributions to the electronic landscape and beyond.
The repressing of Homework can be ordered here and Alive 1997 is available here.
