About to become a first-time parent, Charlie Puth announced his wife’s pregnancy as part of the music video for his new single ‘Changes.’
The visual piece follows Charlie and his spouse Brooke Sansone as the couple walk on top of a red toy piano. Donning red sweater and blue jeans, Mrs Puth stops and cradles her stomach, while her husband places his hands on top of hers and they smile at each other.
Features the lyrics, “There’s been some changes in our life / I can feel the distance, space and time / Has made everything different, day and night / Everything has changed and I don’t know why,” the superstar singer/songwriter shared a snippet of the video on Instagram with the caption “There’s been some changes…”
According to a press release, the music video sees the singer “reflect on Changes both personal and professional with a sweet cameo from his real life wife Brooke Sansone”.
Prompting fans to speculate that a pregnancy announcement was forthcoming, Puth explained why ‘Changes’ was the first single from his next LP, saying:
“This is the song I wanted you to hear first because it’s a perfect way to bring all of you into the most beautiful, colorful part of my life, which happens to be right now. You will soon know why…”
‘Changes’ is included on the Grammy award winner’s fourth studio full length, Whatever’s Clever!, scheduled for a March 2026 release.
Charlie and Brooke started dating in 2022, and celebrated their first wedding anniversary on September 7.
