Charlie Puth Illness Cancels Show

Citing illness as the reason, Charlie Puth cancelled his Saturday, June 6 Orlando, Florida concert.

Reportedly sick for several days and advised to rest in order to recover for the remainder of his Whatever’s Clever! World Tour, the superstar singer/songwriter took took to his Instagram Story account with:

“I am so devastated to do this, but I have to cancel tonight’s show.” “I’ve been sick for the past few days and am now being instructed to rest or else risk cancelling more dates on this tour.” “Performing for you all each night means everything to me, and you all deserve the best. I’m heartbroken, but I physically am unable to perform. Without a voice, I can’t give you guys the show you all deserve.” “I’m so sorry, this was not an easy decision to make but I hope to see you all soon when I am well again.”

Sharing Charlie’s statement on social media along with additional details for ticket holders, Orlando’s Addition Financial Arena stated “Sorry for the delay, as we here at the Arena were awaiting the final decision. Charlie Puth’s Whatever’s Clever tour scheduled for tonight is cancelled with no rescheduled date. Please refer to your original point of purchase for refunds.”

Puth’s current schedule includes a June 9 show in Nashville before heading over to Texas, and once his US dates come to a close, The European leg of his tour will begin.
