Following a physical altercation with his bodyguard, Travis Scott was arrested in Paris at 5am on Friday morning (8.09.)
Born Jacques Bermon Webster, the embattled American musician was reportedly detained by local police at the George V Hotel in the French capital’s 8th arrondissement.
According to French outlet Le Parisien, the authorities were called to the hotel in response to “acts of violence” and a police source has alleged that the rapper was intoxicated at the time.
Seen cheering on Team USA basketball during their semi-final against Serbia the night before the incident, Scott has been in Paris the entire week attending the Olympic Games.
Not his first brush with the law, the now 33-year-old musician was arrested in June following a “disturbance” on a charter yacht at the Miami Beach Marina when the Miami Beach Police Department claimed Scott was “drunk, causing a disturbance, and asked to leave multiple times”.
After being taken into custody, the initial charge of disorderly intoxication against Travis was dropped at a hearing in Miami on Thursday (8.08) yet he still faces a trespassing charge.
Travis Scott shares two children with his ex- girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
