Scheduled for June 13 at Seoul Sports Complex in South Korea, BTS has announced plans for its 2024 FESTA celebration in honor of the K-pop super group’s eleventh anniversary.
Featuring an official appearance by BTS-member Jin, following the completion of his mandatory military service, the current solo star will be giving a hug/handshake to a thousand lucky fans at the complex’s Jamsil Arena. According to the press release, the artist (born Kim Seok-jin) will also deliver a message “consisting of a variety of segments promising an unforgettable experience for ARMY,” that will be live-streamed to those with ARMY Membership through Weverse Live.
On Saturday (6.01), BTS unveiled the official timeline for the 2024 FESTA and the mega-successful boy band shared a collection of unreleased photos, streamed previous concerts, and posted handwritten content from each of the seven members.
Like Jin, BTS’ RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook are all now serving in the South Korean military, which mandates an 18-month military enlistment for all qualified men by the time they turn 28. Concurrent with their service, several members have pursued various solo projects, and the full group is planning to reconvene for band activities next year.
Open to the public, additional information concerning the 2024 FESTA will be released at a later date.
