For the 11th season of The Masked Singer, Rita Ora will replace Nicole Scherzinger.
According to the show’s formal press release on Wednesday (9.13,), the British singer is scheduled to sub for former Pussycat Doll host this coming season in America.
Taking to her Instagram Stories account, Ora wrote “So happy the secret is finally out!! I’m joining @maskedsingerfox USA!” “Can’t wait to guess who’s behind the mask with the other panelists!”
Not the first time she’s ‘been part of the show, Rita previously starred as a judge on the British version of The Masked Singer, airing on ITV.
In order to star as Norma Desmond in the revival of Sunset Boulevard on London’s West End later this month at the Savoy Theatre, Scherzinger announced her temporary break from the US show.
The Masked Singer’s 11th season will premiere in 2024, with Rita Ora joining co-hosts Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke, and the show has aired for two seasons per year since 2019.
