Rita Ora Sued For $4.2M

Claiming she did not remit a significant percentage of her earnings, the musician’s former manager Sarah Stennett has launched legal action against Rita Ora.

As the duo had reportedly disagreed over the “direction of her career,” the 35-year-old singer/songwriter parted ways with her former manager in 2024 after working together since 2009, when the musician was just 18.

Claiming her firm is owed some $4,200,000.00, the FAE Ventures founder lodged papers at London’s High Court, alleging that Ora failed to render a percentage of her earnings from tours and TV work, with documents claiming she violated her contract.

Of the monies owed, the largest payment was allegedly more than $2,300,000.00 with an additional sum of $1,500,000.00 from “unreported touring income” from her Phoenix World Tour between 2019 and 2020. It has also been claimed that Ora was not completely transparent about the money she made as a judge on The Masked Singer.

After leaving FAE Ventures in 2024, the songstress/thespian signed with Melissa Ruderman at Range Media Partners.

Ora’s fourth studio LP is scheduled to drop in 2027, and she is also working on upcoming film projects, including Viqueens, Voltron and Honeymoon with Harry.

At press time, Rita Ora has yet to file a defense to the claim, according to The Sun in England.
