Lewis Capaldi Drops ‘Almost’: Look + Listen

Following the emotional title track and ‘Something In The Heavens,’ on Friday (10.24,) Lewis Capaldi released ‘Almost,’ the third single from his forthcoming EP Survive.

What’s been described as as a “raw and intimate exploration of what it means to move on – or at least try to,” the now 27-year-old musician sings “I swear to God I’m almost alright, I only think about you all the time.”

Slated for a November 14 drop date, the Survive EP will include the yet-to-be-released final track, ‘The Day That I Die’ that’s been reducing fans to tears during Capaldi’s live shows.

Famous for his over-the-top, heart-wrenching emotional ballads, the chart-topping Scottish-born artist will change up the mood with upbeat repertoire, following his 2023’s Broken By Desire to Be Heavenly Sent.

During his BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show interview Scott Mills, Lewis said “I would like to start making happy music. News flash, breaking news. Next album I am doing, it’s happy. It’s happy, happy stuff.”

Two years after he ended his set early amid his struggles with Tourette syndrome, Lewis made his grand return to the stage at Glastonbury this summer, and also released ‘Survive’ about coming through a dark period.

Preparing for a packed 2026 summer schedule of live shows, the superstar singer/songwriter will headline The Isle of Wight Festival on June 19, Dublin’s Marlay Park on June 23 and 24, Thomond Park in Limerick on June 26, Exeter’s TK Maxx Presents Live at Powderham on June 27 and 28, Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields on June 30 and July 1, the inaugural American Express presents Roundhay Festival in Leeds on July 4, headlining American Express presents BST Hyde Park on July 11 and 12, and Belfast Vital and Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park in August.
