According to The Sun newspaper in Britain, Adele has plans to sell items such as jewelry, perfume, and clothing.
After receiving approval in the U.K., the publication reported that the superstar singer/songwriter’s company Melted Stone has filed an application to trademark the phrase “1, 2, Free” for product in the United States, including “articles of underclothing”, along with watches, luggage, headgear, bags, backpacks, wallets, and even key fobs.
A music industry source close the project stated “This venture could see her selling a wide range of items – particularly in the lucrative American market where she is huge.” “It shows that as well as being a great singer-songwriter, Adele is a canny businesswoman.”
As part of her Weekends With Adele residency, Adele is currently performing at The Colosseum at Caesar’s hotel in November, after being postponed almost a year due to production issues.
