U2 + David Guetta Release ‘Atomic City’ Remix: Listen

During their performance during last night’s Grammy Awards (2.04,) U2 shared their David Guetta remix of ‘Atomic City.’

Concurrent with their debut residency at the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas, the iconic Irish band released the original version of ‘Atomic City’ in September of last year.

Prior to performing the new version of the song, Grammy host Trevor Noah said from the ceremony at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com arena: “We are leaving Los Angeles for a moment and going to Las Vegas for the venue that everybody has been talking about this past year. Remember, no television cameras have ever been allowed inside until right now.”

Before zooming mid-song into the venue’s interior to reveal the band, U2’s performance started on the massive 580,000-foot LED screen on the exterior of the sphere. And after they finished their performance, frontman Bono introduced the nominees for the Best Pop Vocal Album accolade, which ultimately went to Taylor Swift for Midnights.
