In her interview with E! News published on Monday (12.23), Snoop Dogg‘s daughter, Cori Broadus, announced that she is expecting a baby with her fiancé Wayne Duece.
Telling the outlet “I found out October 28.” “This baby is so unplanned, but we are so blessed,” the 25-year also confirmed that she’s having a girl, adding:
“I’m just excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she’s the prettiest in the world. “Growing up, I wasn’t the most confident and never felt like I fit in, so just to instill all the beautiful things in her head at a young age. And I’m having a mini-me. Wayne said he’s excited to have someone that looks like me.”
Due to her previously diagnosed health conditions – including the autoimmune disease lupus – elsewhere in the interview, Snoop’s daughter explained that she’s considered to be having a “high-risk” pregnancy, stating:
“Doctors were very concerned for me and the baby but God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine,” adding that Snoop and her mother Shante Broadus are thrilled. “My mom and dad were so excited, their baby girl is having a baby.”
Cori and Wayne were to be married earlier this year but decided to postpone the nuptials after the the mother-to-be suffered a stroke in January.
The lead-up to their big day was documented in the E! docuseries, Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story and the new addition will be Snoop and Shante’s seventh grandchild.
