Cori Broadus, the 25-year old daughter of Snoop Dogg has opened up about her experience dealing with a severe stroke.
In a joint interview with his child, the superstar rapper/celebrity admitted to US Weekly that he struggles with the memories of his daughter Cori Broadus’ health issues that started in January of this year, stating:
“It’s hard for me to revisit that day.” “Anyone who knows me knows my daughter is my kryptonite.”
Adding that her severe stroke came completely out of the blue, Cori said:
“I was celebrating at a party, and then the next day, I’m in the hospital.” “I think it really scared everyone… You know, a stroke is no joke. It brought me and my family closer, (realizing) that anything can happen in a snap of a finger.”
Not Cori’s first health scare, at the age of 6, the founder of Choc Factory cosmetics was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease lupus and in 2021, she attempted suicide after struggling with her mental health.
“Cori is very open in showing her truth, whether it’s talking about her struggles with mental health or her stroke.” “Most people wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing their experiences, but she wants to help people by showing that they are not alone,” explained her father, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.
