Following in the footsteps of fellow singers Lizzo, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Lorde, and Post Malone, on Monday (12.11,) Dua Lipa joined Seth Meyers on the latest edition of “Day Drinking” on the Late Night show.
In celebration of the superstar singer’s brand new single, “Houdini,” the chanteuse and talk show met at New York’s Studio 151 and started their cocktail session by drinking shots, followed by mixed drinks inspired by the legendary magician, Harry Houdini, including the “Houtini,” and a oddly tasty concoction of tequila, Red Bull, curdling pumpkin spice latte and Campari that they named, “Second Wind.”
After downing four shots of various clear liquids, Dua and Seth played a game of ‘truth or drink: inspired by the Albanian-born musician’s prior single, “IDGAF.” Truth demanded Meyers being asked to rank his children from most to least favorite, the singer having to choose between Oprah and Beyoncé, and the most famous person to slide into Lipa’s DMs.
After Lipa revealed her go-to Albanian swear word and Myers admitting what he hates most about being a dad, stating “They’re so dumb, my kids,” the meeting ended in an impromptu musical performances by the duo and a profession of friendship.
