Found dead in the trunk of singer D4vd‘s Tesla in September, a second person of interest has been linked to the death of 15-year-old, Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Within the same time frame that Rivas died, the latest suspect’s phone and social media data have reportedly been triangulated to the Hollywood Hills spot by LAPD homicide detectives .
According to Los Angeles-based criminal defense lawyer Mark Geragos during TMZ’s 2 Angry Men podcast, the unidentified person may have been in the singer’s car where the teen’s body was found. The attorney stated that a central part of the case is a mysterious trip D4vd took to a remote area of Santa Barbara County in the middle of the night last spring.
Investigators probing the female teenage are said to be zeroing in on the songwriter (born David Anthony Burke) as a suspect in the death of Rivas Hernandez, and believe he may have played a role in her demise after her rotting remains were discovered in Los Angeles earlier this year.
While the medical examiner is working to determine the exact cause of death, the results have been delayed because the victim’s remains were so badly decayed.
No arrests have yet been made in the case.
