Including “Priceless,” their recently-released collaboration with Blackpink’s Lisa, and the newest single”All Night,” Maroon 5 will release Love Is Like, their eight studio full length on August 15.
About the band’s latest offering, front man Adam Levine said “I feel like we’ve gone back to what we used to do, which is to not pay attention to where we fit and producing the music organically.” “This is kind of how we stuck out in the beginning when we first started our career.”
In addition to the iconic group’s album announcement and latest single release, Maroon 5’s upcoming U.S. arena tour will run from October 6 in Phoenix and through November 25 in Detroit with stops in between in Palm Springs, Seattle, Nashville, Atlanta, New York, Boston, and more. Singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz will be the opening act throughout the trek.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Levine discussed how the band’s writing style has shifted during different points in their career stating:
“I’ve kind of gone back to writing and shutting everybody out. But Benny [Blanco] was the first guy that got me to kind of think outside of the band.” With Levine and Blanco having previously collaborated on such songs like “Moves Like Jagger,” “Stereo Hearts,” “Payphone,” Adam added “He kind of convinced me to write music away from the band. Because I had only kept it in the band before, so we’d never had outside writers on any of that stuff.”
General concert ticket sale begins Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. local time.
