Returning to host the 60th Annual Country Music Association Awards to take place on Wednesday November 18, live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Lainey Wilson will mark her third consecutive year as MC, and her second consecutive stint as the show’s solo host.
About the news, the 34-year old musician said “I couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary.” “I’ve had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one’s going to be extra special. Can’t wait to see y’all in November!”
Hosting the ceremony for the past three years, the 12-time CMA Award winner, initially shared the stage with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning in 2024 before returning as the show’s solo host in 2025.
Marking its six decade anniversary, the CMA Awards first aired in 1967 and is the longest-running annual music awards program on network television.
This year’s iteration will celebrate the artists, songwriters, musicians and industry professionals who have helped shape country music over the past six decades, and the organization will reveal the nominees for the 60th annual ceremony on Thursday, September 10.
