During her recent concert in Canada, Madonna shared the stage with actress Pamela Anderson.
On Wednesday (2.21,) during her show at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada the now 65-year-old pop superstar (born Madonna Louise Ciccone) invited the celebrity/actress to serve as a guest judge during the ‘Vogue’ segment during which time the dancers show off their best moves.
Taking to her social media account, Madonna posted an image of the two ladies sitting in chairs on stage and holding up number cards, writing: “Thank you Vancouver … Best legs in town.”
Not the first to be involved in Madge’s shows, previous guest judges included Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon and son Rocco Ritchie, in addition to celebrities FKA Twigs, Diplo, Amy Schumer and Charlie Hunnam, fashion designers Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney and Donatella Versace as well as the singer’s own private chef/babysitter who joined her onstage in Germany.
The ‘Celebration’ tour launched last year in London and carried onto North America in December. Madonna is due to play five nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles next month before heading to Florida and Texas in April and wrapping up in Mexico City on April 26.
In a statement about her tour, Madonna said “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.”
Stuart Price, the artist’s musical director told the BBC “A greatest hit doesn’t have to be a song. It can be a wardrobe, it can be a video, or a statement … Madonna’s reputation is for being highly precise and highly rehearsed across all departments.” “When you look at a tour of this scale, it has so many moving parts, so many elements, that everything has to be highly fixed.” “But there’s one thing that’s always dynamic, and that’s Madonna herself. Her personality is so strong, her interaction with the audience is so strong, that it creates opportunities for variation from night to night.”
