Previously titled Lasso, Lana Del Rey just confirmed that her forthcoming full length The Right Person Will Stay will be delayed.
Originally expected to drop on May 21, the superstar singer/songwriter’s next LP but will now be released at a later date with a brand new title.
About the project, the now 39-year old musician said:
“I’m really happy for this album to be moving along. I do have a lot more to say… I mean, you do know it’s not going to come on time right? Like… should I even tell you that the name changed again?” she shared with a smile in an Instagram reel.” “Should I tell you that now, while you’re so happy you even have a song? Yeah… maybe I’ll wait.”
Reflecting a brand new music direction for the award winning artist, on Friday (4.11,) Del Rey dropped the single ‘Henry, Come On,’ a country-infused collaboration with Nashville’s Luke Laird, who previously worked with Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton and Little Big Town.
Taking to Instagram last November, Lana teased her album, writing “So grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke and Drew Erickson among others.”
Later this year Del Rey will embark on her first stadium tours in the UK and Ireland.
