Having lost a significant number of 2020 50th Anniversary North American tour dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as one of the duo’s founding members, Florian Schneider, to cancer, Kraftwerk have confirmed an extensive 2022 US tour to showcase “all compositions of the eight original albums.”
Founded by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider in Düsseldorf, Germany in 1970, Kraftwerk was finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on October 30 after being nominated in 2018. The German quintet’s computer-generated musical legacy is immortal, and fans will be able to experience it in-person next summer.
Tickets to the 3D Tour that begins in St. Louis, Missouri on May 27, 2022 will officially go on sale on November 5, 2021 with American Express cardholders in select markets able to purchase tickets as early as November 2.
