Appearing to double down on his prior controversial statements, following his antisemitic tirade in late 2022, Kanye West returned to radio with new song “Vultures.”
Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk and Bump J., West’s new released premiered Friday night (11.10,) on WPWX Power 92 Chicago, when halfway through the song, the superstar rapper spits, “How I’m antisemitic, I just fucked a Jewish bitch.”
In 2022, sources told Rolling Stone that during the making of The College Dropout, West spoke of his admiration for Hitler and tried to use propaganda strategies inspired by the Nazis to boost his own fame. Sources close to the embattled rapper claimed he had discussed his admiration for the German leader and what he believes are positive achievements of Nazi Germany for some twenty years.
In October 2022, West showcased his new Yeezy line at a YZY SZN 9 presentation in Paris wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt along with Candace Owens. The rapper descended into a torrent of antisemitic remarks before he appeared on Alex Jones’ show in early December to praise Nazis and Hitler. “I see good things about Hitler,” West said during the bizarre three-hour interview where he falsely claimed Hitler had invented highways and microphones.
After announcing his 2024 presidential bid last year, West’s personal attorney Bruce Marks told Rolling Stone in October that he was “not a candidate for office in 2024.” His campaign was helmed by right-wing operative Milo Yiannopoulos — who has been described by the Anti Defamation League as a “misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, transphobic troll” — after Yiannopoulos wrested command of the campaign from the white nationalist and Holocaust denier, Nick Fuentes.
“Vultures” has yet to be officially released on streaming platforms.
