One of this year’s Met Gala fashion event co-chairs (alongside Zendaya, Anna Wintour, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny,) the multi-hyphenate arrived in a “true couture creation” that took “ some 800 hours” of work that was embellished with a butterfly motif to adhere to the dress code of the evening, The Garden of Time.
Addressing her desire to tie in with the Costume Institute’s spring 2024 exhibition, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, J-Lo said “I wanted to be perfect for the Sleeping Beauties (theme),”
Now 54 years of age, Lopez confirmed that hosting the event had not detracted from her enjoyment of the party, adding “Anna (Wintour) calls you, you have a lovely dinner the night before, you host, you get to greet all the guests.” “It’s not that bad. It’s quite the honor. It’s nice.”
