According to local Nashville network WTVF Channel 5, on Sunday (11.17,) officers from the Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested country musician Jamey Johnson for alleged possession of drugs and speeding.
The superstar singer/songwriter recently was subsequently taken into custody in Williamson County, where his bond was set at $500,000
In a statement to the network, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said “We can confirm that Jamey Johnson was arrested on Sunday, 17 November in Williamson Country.” “The incident is still under investigation.”
Including the song ‘Sober,’ which provides a real-life look into his historic battle with alcohol, on November 8, Johnson released Midnight Gasoline, his first new LP in 14 years. And in a recent interview with Billboard, the musician said that he took his last drink in September 2011 and quit smoking marijuana in 2015.
