In support of Uber Eats, SNL characters’ Wayne and Garth are back with a commercial from the original set of Wayne’s World.
The first installment of the television ad that premiered on Saturday (January 30th) features the duo donned in their signature 1980’s get-ups – Mike Myers in his black t-shirt, ripped jeans and WW baseball hat, Dana Carvey rocking an Alice Cooper t-shirt under a flannel with shredded jeans and Garth’s iconic blonde shaggy hair. “We’ll see you on the Big Bowl,” says Garth with a snicker. “The gigantic bowl,” adds Wayne, before plugging the meal delivery service.
In the second version of the commercial, the iconic duo are joined by Cardi B, who magically swaps matching outfits with the other two members who note that as a local access cable show, they’re adamant about supporting their hometown restaurants. Their viewers can do the same by using Uber Eats. Check out the clip below.
Following the wildly popular Saturday Night Live sketches, Myers and Carvey teamed up for the first Wayne’s World film in 1992 (that spawned the iconic scene of them rocking out to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in a car ) and the 1993’s Wayne’s World 2 sequel.
