Taking to Instagram with a photo of herself in a recording studio along with the caption “Mostly the year of this … See you next year, b******,” Camila Cabello dropped a hint about releasing new music in 2024.
The social media post comes after the superstar singer/songwriter admitted she’s been “scheming” about her new album, but refused to divulge any further details.
What will be two year’s since Cabello’s last full length, ‘Familia’ (2022,) during an interview with Rolling Stone, when asked if she’s started planning her fourth album, Cabello replied: “Oh darling, of course. I’m always scheming but I won’t say too much about it because I love a calculated surprise … Oop! Can’t say, can’t say anything.”
Addressing her creative process, the former Fifth Harmony-member stated “It always has to be about challenging myself and doing something new. So really consuming a lot of new art and a lot of new references.” “A lot of new music, new movies, new novels, new photography. To me, what produces different output is having new input. That’s what’s inspired me.”
Not the first mega-star to tease forthcoming repertoire, Ariana Grande, Charlie Puth, and Billie Eilish have dropped hints about new music come the new year.
