Beyoncé Threatens The Trump Campaign

Standing her ground against the former president’s campaign, Beyoncé has reportedly threatened to send a cease-and-desist order to the Trump organization for using ‘Freedom.’

Reliable sources have revealed the legal threat followed the 45th president’s team using the 2016 track in a clip showing Donald Trump getting off an airplane. Taking to social media with the track playing in the background, a since-removed tweet depicted the now 78-year old politician alighting from an aircraft, with the caption, “Touchdown in Michigan!! @realDonaldTrump,”

Unlike Trump, Beyoncé has given permission for her hit to be used as Kamala Harris’ “unofficial campaign song” which has aired for several weeks in the vice president’s ads and social media reels.

While the superstar singer/songwriter has yet to officially endorse Harris, insiders have said that “Beyoncé has cleared her schedule to attend a Kamala Harris fundraiser,” as she “decided to step back in after people close to her showed her” Trump’s Project 2025 plans.

Not the first time the Trump campaign has used songs without permission, earlier this month Céline Dion called out the embattled politician for using ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ and her video at a campaign rally in Montana. The Canadian singer’s team released a statement, saying, “In no way is this use authorized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use. …And really, THAT song?”
