In order for Ann Wilson to undergo a “time sensitive” medical procedure, Heart have cancelled their European tour dates.
On Wednesday (5.30,) the iconic duo confirmed plans to scrap the European leg of their Royal Flush Tour so that Ann, now 73, will have time to recover from the operation.
The musician’s formal statement, which includes Ann’s sister Nancy Wilson, reads:
“We regret to inform you that all upcoming Heart performances in Europe are canceled.” “In late May, Ann Wilson will undergo a time-sensitive but routine procedure for which the minimum recovery time is six weeks. Heart deeply regrets this unfortunate circumstance and hopes to return to Europe soon.”
Though no additional details were disclosed about Ann’s condition, the singer took to her Instagarm account assuring her fans need not be concerned:
“I’m okay! Please don’t worry.” “I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It’s certainly an inconvenience for me. Love & respect always, Ann.”
Scheduled to perform in Europe from June 20 through July 12, Heart is next scheduled to perform alongside Def Leppard and Journey in Cleveland, Ohio on July 30, with North American dates lined up in North America for the rest of 2024.
