In preparation for ‘Sting 3.0,’ his forthcoming North American tour, Sting will hit the road for an intimate run with drummer Chris Maas, former touring drummer for Mumford and Sons, and his longtime collaborator and touring guitarist Dominic Miller.
Starting on September 17, with two consecutive shows at The Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan, fans will be privy to the trio performing Sting’s biggest hits along with multiple nights at several venues.
Effective Monday, March 11, members of Sting’s Fan Club will be given access to a special pre-sale by via sting.com. Additional pre-sales including Citi and American Express will run throughout the week and general on sale will begin Friday, March 15 at 10am local time.
In related Sting news, Billy Joel recently said that his dream supergroup would include Sting, Don Henley, and “maybe” John Mayer.
When asked by Howard Stern why he never actually formed the group, Joel replied: “Well, everybody’s busy.”
