On Tuesday (10.18,) Thomas RhettΒ andΒ Katy Perry shared the official music video for their collaborative track βWhere We Started.”
Off of his sixth studio LP, the video follows Rhett and Perry as they keep things simple with theΒ countryΒ singer donning a double denim outfit and theΒ popΒ chanteuse wearing a white gown, shot in separate sheet covered rooms.

In a statement about their current collab, Rhett said βWorking with Katy has been a really collaborative process.” βFrom tracking the song in the studio, to performing on itΒ AmericanΒ Idol, to this video β her input has made this whole experience really special for me.β
The Perry added, βI loved being able to create a dreamy world for βWhere We Started,β going back to the Nashville singer-songwriter roots of whereΒ IΒ started.β
In April βWhere We Startedβ peaked at #33 onΒ BillboardβsΒ Hot Country SongsΒ chart and the full length spent three weeks on theΒ Billboard 200, peaking at #12, along with 23 weeks onΒ Top Country AlbumsΒ peaking at #2.
