Since her June 2020 filing for divorce from the father of her two children, after seven years of marriage, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have finally settled.
According to court documents obtained by CNN, the singer will give her ex-husband a one-time payment of $1,300,00, $45,601 per month in child support, and $115,000 in monthly spousal support until January 31, 2024.
The former couple will share joint custody of their two children – River (now 7) and Remington (now 5) while they live at Clarkson’s current Los Angeles home.
In return for the financial settlement the superstar singer/songwriter got both of their Montana properties, and Blackstock has agreed to pay Clarkson $2,000 per month to stay at their former ranch until June, 2021.
The court documents also show that the 39-year-old singer will keep the family pets and multiple cars, such as a Porsche Cayenne, while Blackstock will get the former couple’s “farm cattle, livestock, stock dogs, and horses”, multiple vehicles, and designer watches.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host was declared legally single by a judge last August and she recently filed documents to legally drop her surname, and to be known by her first and middle name Kelly Brianne.
